Sometimes we are afraid to talk to people about God or Christianity because we feel like we don't have the answers to the questions we think they might ask. I was thinking we could do a study where we deal with those questions. I guess the idea came to me because John mentioning a question about dinosaurs a couple of weeks ago.
So, I think we could have a study dealing with all those questions and how we can respond to them with knowledge and confidence. Let me know if you think this is a good idea and let me know what are some questions you would feel unconfortable about having to answer.
A couple of examples are
1. What about the dinosaurs??
2. What about the evolution??
3. Why does God let bad things happen??

The Power of Perseverance
This past week we talked about perseverance. Sometimes when God calls you to do something, it will not be easy or go as you thought it would, but you have to persevere. Moses did what God asked of him in approaching pharoah, but the result was probably everything Moses didn't want. Pharoah started treating them worse and Moses' people changed their heart toward Moses. But Moses persevered, and you know the rest of the story.

Saying Yes to God
This past week we discussed God's call on our lives. He calls us, we make excuses; just like Moses did. He used the same excuses we still use today, but God had a rebuttal for each one. We, like Moses, think we have to do it on our own, but God just wants to work through us to accomplish his tasks.

Running Toward God or Away From God
Exodus 1 of 6: We took a look at Moses from Exodus 2 to determine how he was acting willfully (purposeful; bent of having his own way), and willingly (ready and able). We also talked about how to go from being willful to willing. Three signs that you are becoming more willing (less willful):
1. You are spending more and more time in dependant prayer.
2. You are seeking God's strength in you moments of temptation.
3. You are growing in you willingness to humbly submit to the desires and wishes of others.
