This past Monday we watched "The Nativity Story", the story of the birth of Jesus, more or less (well mostly more I suppose). When you try to turn 50 verses into a hour and a half movie, you are probably going to take a couple of creative leaps.
Next Monday (Dec 3rd) we will discuss the story, based on what we saw and what we are going to read before then. Please read Matthew 1 & 2 and Luke 1-2:40. Hopefully we will be able to set our hearts towards God through all of the shopping, visiting, eating, etc... that goes along with Christmas.

Hi Everyone-
Sorry that we didn't make it last week - especially since we were having Italian night for my birthday - my favorite!
All three of us were sick with colds and we thought we'd spare you the germs and us the extra aggrevation.
Plus, on the way back from Hershey Monday evening we were running late and cooper started to run a fever.
Anyway, we missed the food - oh, and you all too :)
We'll post what we're bringing next week later on. Hopefully, roasted Panther.
